Leading road planing company secures prestigious accreditations
Jet Plant Hire, the UK’s leading road planing company, is celebrating securing two prestigious new accreditations.
The company has been named by Avetta as a 2025 ESG Innovator, recognising how Jet prioritises environmental, social and governance practices. Sustainability has been at the heart of everything Jet does throughout many years of successful operation.
Avetta is a platform trusted by over 13,000 businesses in over 120 countries to build safe, sustainable and secure connections.
In addition to this impressive recognition, Jet has also secured an ISO 14064-1:2018–aligned accreditation, following an independent verification of its 2024–25 greenhouse gas inventory. This verification confirms that Jet’s emissions reporting has been carried out ‑in accordance with the internationally recognised ISO 140641:2018 standard. This milestone highlights the company’s continued dedication to environmental stewardship, operational transparency‑ and credible climate action.
ISO 14064-1:2018 also emphasises Jet’s dedication to process rigour, another one of the company’s core principles, giving third-party verification confirming that all greenhouse gas tracking meets the highest global standards for accuracy and reliability.
Tina Greenhill, Health and Sustainability Director at Jet Plant Hire, said: “To secure both of these respected accreditations in the space of a week is a real achievement and a testament to the hard work of everyone within Jet. We pride ourselves on strong business ethics, robust processes and a genuine commitment to sustainability.
“Being named as a 2025 Avetta ESG Innovator can give our customers further confidence that we’re committed to sustainable operations and prioritising ESG initiatives. Our new independent verification in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018 further demonstrates our transparent approach to monitoring emissions and our dedication to continually improving our carbon performance.”
Jet prioritises sustainability, with the company’s state-of-the-art road planers running on HVO, drastically reducing emissions. Jet’s ultimate goal is to be Net Zero, delivering for both customers and the planet.
