Jet Plant Environmental Social and Governance Policy
ESG is a set of standards that measure a business’s impact on society, the environment, along with how transparent and accountable it is.
At Jet Plant Hire Limited we provide road planing services to the construction industry across a wide range of clients – from multinational corporations to local surfacing contractors. The company has taken the first steps to realising its ESG ambitions by investing in a pilot scheme run by Marsh Commercial to create a framework and report that formalises the work we have already been doing in this area.
Our ESG Strategy
Our ESG strategy has been formalised and is focussed on addressing the environmental, social and governance challenges impacting our stakeholders, and the wider community. We are focussed on driving long-term business sustainability and maintaining ethical and compliant business practices.
We created a baseline in 2021 of our emissions and formulated an ambitious strategy on how we support the global target from COP26 of no more than a 1.5 degree rise in climate temperature.

To know and quantify our impact on the environment we operate in – in every sense of the word. To lead our industry to Net Zero road planing.
To re-invent our industry so that reducing emissions to Net Zero is the absolute driver in procurement of road planing services in order to meet the global target of no more than 1.5 degrees rise in climate temperature.

At Jet Plant, environmental sustainability means minimising the environmental impact associated with our fleet and transportation of plant from our operations and investment activities.
