Evesham company Jet Plant Hire named in Sunday Times Best Places To Work 2025 list

Evesham-based Jet Plant Hire, a leading player in the highways and construction industry, has been recognised as one of The Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Work’, in the medium organisation category.

Published earlier this month by The Sunday Times in partnership with WorkL, the nationwide survey celebrates over 500 of the UK’s top employers across all sectors and sizes.

The survey honours organisations that excel in creating outstanding workplaces for women, the LGBTQIA+ community, disabled employees, ethnic minorities, younger and older workers, and those offering exceptional wellbeing support.

Jet has been acknowledged as a Sunday Times Best Place to Work and successfully recognised for having consistently high levels of employee experience and wellbeing.

Jet is committed to fostering a positive and professional workplace culture, reflected in its impressive employee retention rate, with an average service length of 8.6 years. Many employees cite a significant improvement in their working environment after joining the company, reinforcing Jet’s reputation as an employer of choice.

The company is also a proud supporter of raising mental health awareness, with eight team members receiving mental health first aider training. The Sunday Times also praised Jet for having its own training school, offering perks including gym membership, regular social gatherings and a paid volunteer day.

Sean Witheford, Chair of Jet Plant Hire, said: “I’m very proud to see Jet featured on the prestigious Sunday Times Best Places To Work list. We work hard to ensure that we have a positive and inclusive culture that enables our team to do the best work possible, whilst developing their own career.

“With the launch of our new Jet School last year, we’re also passionate about finding the next generation of the industry. I’d encourage anyone interesting in joining our team to get in touch!”

Lord Mark Price, Founder of WorkL, said:  “Many congratulations to the 2025 Sunday Times Best Places to Work, powered by WorkL. Recognised organisations lead the way in employee experience and will now benefit from improved retention and recruitment for the year ahead. WorkL is proud to power these awards and support organisations to measure employee experience and to retain and recruit the very best employees.”
